Virgie LeBlue


Virgie LeBlue was Born in Rosetta, Mississippi and raised in Crosby, Mississippi. She graduated from high school with a scholarship to Spencer Business College, which she completed in Baton Rouge in 1951. Met and married businessman, A.J. LeBlue in 1952. Together they had 2 children Rebecca and Dale. Virigie is a charter member of the Crowley Art Association. Working many days in The Gallery, sparked her interest in photography. After her daughter Rebecca married, she turned her daughter’s room into a dark room for photography. Virgie and A.J. traveled the nation taking photos of landscapes. She and her husband being avid hunters, her love for wildlife photography began. Watercolor today is her passion and has been for the last 20 years. Virgie she was on the committee for hanging the annual Rice Capital Juried Art Competition. Virgie LeBlue’s works continues to be sold around country.
