Since the age of two, Shann has been drawing and painting. Her natural designs are thoughtful and radiant in manner. She has developed her own vibrant technique, style and vision. Her skills include pencil, pen and ink, oil on canvas, acrylic, water color, cartoons, illustrations and caricatures.
Shann is currently the cartoonist for the Louisiana Cattlemans Magazine, which is distributed to 47 states. Her cartoon strip is called "A BunchaBull"
Shann attained her degree in visual arts from Southeastern Louisiana University in 1982. In addition, she is a certified Kindergarten teacher. Her artistic and imaginative talents aid young children in gaining knowledge. Shann holds "Cartooning Spa," a stress free, fun workshop for adults at various conventions.
Hobbies include swimming, entertaining friends and assisting her husband with the family farm. She has two daughters and several pets. Presently, Shann has pieces hanging in galleries at Crowley, Breaux Bridge, Lafayette, Abbeville, and Rayne, Louisiana.
Shann's artwork continues to gain popularity. People who have viewed her large dog murals at various shelters have commissioned Shann to paint their dogs and cats in her special style.
