Carline FontenotCarline Fontenot was born in Iota, LA. She is married to Jerry, they have three children and four grandchildren. She loves to sew and was taught by Mrs Beatrice Cart at Iota High School. Having lived in Tee Mamou, Carline always loved Mardi Gras. With her son, Todd, being co-captain this inspired her to start making costumes. One of her costumes recieved a trophy for "Most Original Costume" in Basille, LA. This inspired her to start making more costumes. She then branched out and started making baby bonnets, blankets, bibs, etc. for the Farmer's Market in Jennings, LA.
