Bonnie Jo MickalBonnie Jo Mickal is originally from New Orleans, but relocated to Lafayette, LA 30 years ago. Sixteen years ago she was drawn to pottery after taking a Potpourri course taught by Ann Elliot and Tom La Dousa at ULL.
She also was fortunate enough to spend time in Taos, New Mexico with Sharon Dryflower.
Bonnie Jo's favorite types of clays are red and white, and loves either throwing the cla on the wheel or building by hand. All her glazes are lead free making all her pieces food safe.
She enjoys all art forms, and partakes in drawing and painting, but her passion is CLAY!
